Miss Courtney Luker and Mr. Michael Heaton were united in marriage July 8, 2006 at 6 o’clock in the evening at Trinity Lutheran Church in Victoria, Texas. Pastor Barney Matocha officiated. A reception followed at Raisin L Ranch in Victoria.
Courtney is the daughter of Mike and Susan Sizemore and Randy Luker of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of Melvin and Bobbie Luker and Jack and Joe Ann Cornelius.
Michael is the son of Joe and Pam Heaton of Huntsville. He is the grandson of Glynn and Shirley Cougot and Margie Heaton.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father Randy. Mrs. Margaret Luker, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Schuhsler, Jill Oslick, Olivia Hunt, Brooke Jorgensen, Whitney Boucher, Melissa Johnson, and Sarah Dietrich. Miss Hannah Bludau served as flower girl.
Mr. Wayne Heaton, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Sanders, John Reid, Chad Fuller, Jason Smith, Ryan Luker, Justin Hill, and Robert Stanford. Master Allen Grones served as ringbearer. Ushers were Brad Henderson, Patrick Brendel, Travis Cougot, Austin Cornelius and Andrew Minnick.
Courtney is a 2001 graduate of Victoria High School and will graduate from Sam Houston State University in 2006 with a degree in education. She is currently employed by Sam Houston State University.
Michael is a 2001 graduate of Huntsville High School and will graduate from Sam Houston State University in 2006 with a degree in business. He is currently employed by Huntsville Livestock.
Following a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Huntsville.
