After waiting a while for the playoffs, the Alpha Omega Lions can finally begin their postseason run tonight.
The Lions, the second-place team out of District 7-A, will host Orange Community Christian today at 6 p.m.
“They’re a pretty good team,” Lions head coach Clint Allen said. “They finished third place in their district. They’ve got a big guy down low and a good point guard.”
The Lions, though, have been preparing for a week and are feeling good about their chances.
“We’re very confident,” Allen said. “We just need our guys to execute and shut down their guys in the paint. I think we can pull it out.
“We ended district playing pretty well. We’re looking to continue to play well and get some wins in the playoffs.”
