We've reached the midpoint of today's game and St. Joseph's trails the Kats by three scores.

Sam Houston State tacked on a touchdown by Chris Poullard and a field goal in the second quarter by Miguel Antonio to go up 24-0.

The game is starting to get out of reach for St. Joseph's. Even though the Pumas can get right back into the game with a couple of scores and some defensive stops, the score doesn't begin to show the difference between the two teams.

The Kats have rushed for 119 yards on 19 carries compared to just 39 yards on 17 carries for St. Joseph's.

The respective passing games also have quite a bit of separation. SHSU quarterback Blake Joseph has completed 9-of-16 passes for 132 yards, while St. Joseph's has only passed for 62 yards on 8-of-14 passing.
