The Seven Hills Running Club of Huntsville elected new officers for 2009-2010 at a recent meeting.
Jody Slaughter, a marathon runner and triathlete from New Waverly, was elected as president. Phillip Clark of Huntsville is the new vice president. Clark is also a long distance runner. Mary Sweeten was elected as the club secretary, Mariah Reynolds as treasurer and Lavonne Zaiontz as registrar.
Congratulations to these new officers. The Seven Hills Running Club was founded in 1985 and is open to all walkers and runners. For more information, visit the club’s Web site at http://www.7hills.us.
