Joyce Borski

HUNTSVILLE — Joyce Borski, born April 18, 1933, in Timpson, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, while in the care of Hospice Compassus.  

Joyce bravely battled cancer since November of 2006. Joyce was an amazing person, a wonderful mother, and so very proud of her Grandbabies.  

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harold Borski; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emmitt Crump; brother, James Crump and sister, Pauline Kuta.

Joyce is survived by her children, Robert Borski of New Waverly, Catherine Clark and husband Donny of Houston, and Debra Bridwell and husband Dusty of Friendswood; three grandchildren, Emily Clark, Dillon Bridwell and Kacie Bridwell; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Pat H. Foley & Co, 1200 W. 34th St, Houston, TX.  The Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston, TX.  The Rite of Christian Burial will be held at Elmina Cemetery in New Waverly.  The Rev. Clint Ressler will be officiating.  

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hospice Compassus, www.chafoundation.org or Community Hospices of America Foundation, 1770 St. James Place, Ste 330, Houston, TX 77056.
