Margaret Rose Carpus

Margaret Rose Carpus was born Feb. 10, 1927, in Buffalo, N.Y. Her parents were Felix and Ethel Heenan. She passed away peacefully in Crockett on Nov. 6, 2009, at the age of 82.

Mrs. Carpus retired from New York State in 1979 and moved to Texas, residing in Trinity until her death. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Paul Heenan, Felix Heenan, Ethel Heenan, Frances Heenan and Dorothy Ray.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert John Carpus of Trinity; children, Paula Spalding of California, Robert Carpus and wife Philis of Lewisville, and Paul Carpus and wife Annette of Normangee; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, William Heenan and wife Marilyn of Dunkirk, N.Y.; and numerous other relatives.
