Lilian Elizabeth Poole





Lilian Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Poole, age 82, passed away peacefully on Oct. 23 at home in Buda. She was born in Randlett, Okla., on Nov. 14, 1926, to Gordon and Lilian Mills, one of three children.

Betty married G.W. ‘Johnny’ Poole on June 2, 1945. They made their home and raised their family in Bartlesville, Okla.

After retirement, they moved to Huntsville where they enjoyed life for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and son, John.

She is survived by her husband, daughter, son, two grandchildren, granddaughter-in-law, and four great-grandchildren.

Please join us for a celebration of her life on her birthday, Nov. 14, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church here in Huntsville. Visitation with the family will follow the memorial service at the church.
