Pearl Margaret Hunt

Pearl Margaret Hunt , 83, of Huntsville went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 6, 2009.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday at Brooke Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Reagan Cooksey officiating. Burial will follow at Brooke Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pearl was born in Glenmora, La., to Mayo H. Henderson and Amanda (Cloud) Henderson and was a graduate of Glenmora High School. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. as an operator, retiring with 33 years of service. She was a member of Shiro Baptist Church. Her most prized passions were her children and grandchildren. Her happiest times were when her family was around her. She had a strong walk and love for her Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mayo and Amanda Henderson; grandson, Cory DuBois; great-granddaughter, Kaylan Avery; four brothers, Kurth, Creal, Earl and R.L. Henderson; and sisters, Ruby and Joe.

She is survived by her husband, Van Hulon Rigby; two daughters, Judy Mancil and Peggy Schaeffer and husband David; two sons, Jack Hunt and Joey Hunt and wife Dawn; sister, Nina Harris; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
