Rita Mae Stevens

Funeral services will be held for Rita Mae Stevens of Huntsville at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Pioneer Cemetery in Riverside and will be officiated by Pastor Jim Newton. The family will receive visitors from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Huntsville Funeral Home.

Rita Mae Stevens was born in Blackwell, Okla. on March 15, 1925, to William O. Ellis and Emma L. Young. Ms. Stevens passed away Oct. 26, 2009.

Ms. Rita Stevens was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed and cherished by those who loved her most.

Ms. Stevens is survived by her daughters, Rita Fontenot and husband Joseph, Sharon Clayton and husband Danny, Darleen Young; and her son Wayne Stevens and wife Dianne; her grandchildren, John Roberson and wife Brandy, Roland Patteson Jr., Julie Patteson, Lenton Dennis, Troy Dennis, Marcus Young, James Husband and Charlie Clayton; and many great-grandchildren.
