John Harry Chamberlain

HUNTSVILLE — Funeral services for John Harry Chamberlain will be held on Saturday, March 6, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Randy Lowe will officiate.

Burial will be in Carlisle Cemetery

Chamberlain was born Nov. 24, 1938, in Camden, N.J., and passed away March 4, 2010, at Huntsville Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired from the Navy and from TDCJ.

He is survived by his sister, Judy Eames; brother, Bill Chamberlain; stepdaughter, Pam Wheeler and husband Bill; granddaughter, Courtney and husband Rob Schindler; grandson, Will Wheeler; stepson, Howard Middleton; stepbrothers, Bill and Charles Fisher; stepsister, Babs Deaton; several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. Chamberlain and Florence Hubler Chamberlain; his wife, Marlene; one brother; and his stepfather.

John was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, the Joe Werner Lodge, and the Houston Scottish Rite.

Arrangements under the direction of Trinity Funeral Home.
