Bonnie Sue Jon

HUNTSVILLE — Bonnie Sue Jon, 67, of Huntsville, passed away on March 15, 2010, in Tomball. Bonnie Sue Jon was born on June 17, 1942, to her parents, Mamie Christine Everitt ( Tiny) and Jack W. White in Houston. She started the cooperative of Women Artist of Huntsville.

Ms. Jon is survived by her lifetime companion, Shawn Kavanaugh; and daughter, Braelyn Kavanaugh; her mother, Mamie (Tiny) White; her three daughters, Kathlyn Black, Jody Duncan, and Janis Muehe; and two sons, Clinton Black and Marshall Duncan; sister, Loretta Abernathey; grandchildren, Levi Williamson, Jason Black, Nathan Grismore, Sarah Grismore, Jessica Black, Alex Grismore, Hunter Caravel, Samantha Caravel, Garrett Baxter, Ashlyn Baxter and Nathaniel Duncan; and great-grandchild, Jeffrey Safron.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack W. White and her daughter, Alisa Grismore.

Services for Ms. Jon will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Huntsville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Blackjack Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Thursday prior to the service.
