HUNTSVILLE —
Huntsville police are seeking information from the public after an unknown suspect stole more than $1,000 cash from a local business.
Officers form the HPD responded to Domino’s Pizza at 2411 Avenue I shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday after the store’s manager reported that the back door of the business had been kicked in.
According to Lt. Jim Barnes of the HPD, the manager opened the store at 10 a.m., but did not notice the damage to the business until a delivery man notified him of it a short while later.
HPD detectives responded to the scene to process evidence and collect surveillance video from the scene. Barnes said approximately $1,300 was reported stolen from the store’s cash register.
Police describe the suspect as a white male with a blue T-shirt wrapped around his head. No suspect has been named.
Anyone with information on the burglary is urged to call the HPD at (936) 291-5480 or Walker County Crime Stoppers at (936) 294-9494.
