The event will feature a variety of free games and activities for Huntsville families in celebration of the first day of spring.
City Recreation Services Coordinator Kim Barnes said the public is invited to “shake off the winter sludge and join us” for the event.
Among the activities offered free of charge at the event will be swimming at the Huntsville Aquatic Center, kite-flying, horseshoes, giant games including checkers and chess, sidewalk chalk and more.
Barnes said numerous prizes will also be given away throughout the afternoon, including kites, sidewalk chalk and more.
The event will be cancelled in the event of rain.
