AUSTIN — Republican Todd Staples says he’ll run for another term as Texas agriculture commissioner.
Staples announced his plan for the 2010 election Tuesday. The former state senator from Palestine first won election to the statewide office in 2006.
On Monday, Staples was endorsed the Texas Farm Bureau. His re-election campaign announcement also included an endorsement from the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.
