HUNTSVILLE — Tickets for Sam Houston State’s game against Baylor in the opening round of the NCAA tournament at the New Orleans Arena will be made available for sale to the general public at 11 a.m. today at the Athletic Department Ticket Office.
Tickets can be purchased via phone at (936) 294-1729 or on the Web at www.gobearkats.com.
Bearkats season ticket holders will have a “short window of exclusivity” to purchase session tickets through today at 11 a.m.
The Bearkats tip off in NCAA tournament first-round action Thursday is 2 p.m.
Each regional hosts eight teams and share seating locations.
Bearkats fans may purchase tickets to the sessions in which SHSU plays. Tickets for each session are $66 each, which includes two games.
Fans purchasing session tickets from SHSU Athletics will be charged $66 for round one at the time of their commitment and automatically charged an additional $66 for the second round game on Saturday if the Bearkats prevail in the opening round.
Tickets for each session may be picked up at the New Orleans Arena will call before the event.
