HUNTSVILLE — Decisions involve
the youngsters
It would appear that the current board of directors is in over its head.
I have been involved with HBBA for seven years now, as a coach for three of those years. The current years draft was a fiasco. Most teams have too many players. This will have effects on both the players and the coaches.
In most cases, there will be three to four kids sitting on the bench. This is more than enough kids to add additional teams if there were adequate coaches.
This speaks to many things: Either there is little to no parental involvement or nobody wants to be associated with the people that are leading HBBA. Either way, it’s the children that are affected.
