During halftime of the game between the Kats and the Islanders — the Kats hold a 33-26 advantage — fans were treated to a special presentation.
Luke Prihoda, who helped lead the Bearkats to an SLC tournament championship and a berth to the Oxford regional in 2007, was finally awarded his National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the year. Prihoda earned 18 saves in 2007.
Joining him on the floor was head coach Mark Johnson and the 2009 Sam Houston State baseball team.
