We've got a wild one on tap here at Johnson Coliseum folks.
The Texas A&M-Corpus; Christi Islanders, undefeated in Southland Conference play, take on the red-hot Bearkats in a battle for first place in the West Division.
While it is still real early in the conference season, a win today over the Islanders could go a long way in determining how the rest of the season plays out.
Winning the tough games helps define teams and with the short history these two squads have had, it should be no different today.
The Kats are coming off a thrilling 112-105 double-overtime victory against Lamar on Wednesday, while the Islanders have had a whole week to prepare for Sam Houston State.
It will be a wild one to be sure.
