Double-digit lead

The Bearkats are now out to their biggest lead of the game.

Sam Houston State guard Corey Allmond hit his first 3-pointer of the night. After moving the ball around the arc, point guard Ashton Mitchell found a wide open Allmond, who drained it from three feet beyond the 3-point line.

The Kats lead 38-28 with a little more than four minutes to go in the first half.
