The New Waverly Bulldogs playoff run came to an end sooner than expected Friday night. Woodville built a 14-0 lead and held on for a 21-14 victory in a Class 2A Division II bi-district game at Bowers Stadium. The Bulldogs, who advanced to the regional semifinals last season, finish the year with an 8-3 record.
