Huntsville senior Kirby Ennis is heading to Austin today for this weekend’s UIL State Track and Field Championships. The second-place finisher at the Class 4A Region III meet held in Huntsville two weeks ago, Ennis is looking to improve on the throw of 154 feet, 4 inches that earned him a spot in the state meet. The Class 4A boys discus competition is scheduled to start Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mike A. Myers Stadium on the University of Texas campus.
