The nine kindergarten through second-grade classes at Alpha Omega Academy each held a Thanksgiving Feast at noon Tuesday — the last day of classes before the Thanksgiving break — with parents and teachers bringing a variety of foods for the feast. Misty Lampson’s second-grade class — dressed as pilgrims and Native Americans — enjoyed a feast of corn on the cob, ham, turkey, green beans, macaroni and cheese, Chinese noodles, salad, bread and pumpkin pie. At top, Kirby Cabler concentrates on an ear of corn before turning her attention to her plate of food.
