Sam Houston State’s Tyler Lundy lets out a scream while teammate Nick Zaleski and the rest of the Bearkats celebrate their 7-1 victory over Texas State on Saturday night at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi. For the third year in a row, the Bearkats rolled undeated through the Southland Conference baseball tournament. Seventh-seeded Sam Houston dominated the Southland’s regular-season champions Saturday, banging out 14 hits and holding the rival Bobcats to six. The Bearkats earned an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season. Pairings and regional sites will be announced Monday at 11:30 a.m.
