Former Sam Houston State quarterback Rhett Bomar drags a defender toward the end zone during the Bearkats’ 58-14 victory over East Central Oklahoma on August 28, 2008 at Bowers Stadium. Bomar is expected to hear his name called this weekend at the 2009 NFL Draft. In two seasons at Sam Houston, Bomar became the school’s all-time leader in total yards (6,159) and passing yards (5,564).
