Micah and Marla Slaughter of Huntsville are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Lindsey Marie, to Tyler McCaffety, son of Robert and Frankie McCaffety of Huntsville. Lindsey’s grandparents are Stanley and Diana Plaster of Huntsville, Billy and Rita Davis of Madisonville, and the late Dr. Jerry Slaughter. Tyler’s grandparents are Eugene and Shirley McCaffety of Huntsville and the late Frank and Velma Thompson of Midland. Lindsey and Tyler will graduate in 2010 from Sam Houston State University. Lindsey with a degree in English and Tyler with a degree in banking and financial institutions. The wedding and reception are planned for March 13, 2010, on the grounds of Austin Hall on the campus of Sam Houston State University.
