Mr. and Mrs. Rex Byrd of Huntsville are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lisa Renee Byrd, to Robert Andrew Ray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eugene Ray of Lufkin. Lisa is the granddaughter of Frances Byrd and the late Rip Byrd. Lisa and Robert are both graduates of Texas A&M; University. Lisa is an elementary teacher in Bryan and Robert is a pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays organization. The wedding will take place at First Baptist Church in Huntsville on Dec. 12.
